Trudy Wettstein is a Senior at Eureka High School, her officer position is Vice President. As one of the Vice Presidents of the Eureka FFA Chapter Trudy works along with the other VP to ensure the calendars are all up to date, the CSP is written, and works alongside the President all year. Trudy’s favorite CDE’s are Agronomy, Horticulture, Soils, and Vet Science. Trudy thinks that the most valuable parts of FFA are the relationships you create and what you learn with the different experiences in FFA. She joined the FFA because many of her siblings were quite involved and she has always been very interested in agriculture. In her free time, she likes to hang out with friends and family and do anything outside like fishing, 4-wheeling, biking, and more. Trudy would encourage others to join FFA and get more involved as it is a very good opportunity to get pushed out of your comfort zone, growing your social skills and learning a lot of important life and agriculture skills.
